OUR CREW

- WHO LOOKS AFTER OUR FURRY FRIENDS -

“You know, a dog can snap you out of any kind of bad mood that you’re in faster than you can think of.” – Jill Abramson

DYLAN

Originally from Queensland, Dylan & his wife made the big move down to Melbourne in 2018. After 12 years in the supermarket industry, Dylan decided to bite the bullet and accepted a role within the dog care industry, boy were we lucky he did!

Three years and countless cuddles later, it’s safe to say now that there is no looking back. Dylan is manager at Bones & Harmony, and likely the first of the team your doggie will meet (and fall in love with).

In his spare time Dylan enjoys playing music with friends, video games, travelling as much as possible with his wife Laura & hanging out with his cat, Beau (don’t tell the dogs!)

sharon

Growing up in New Zealand, Sharon always wanted a dog.  She dreamt about big dogs, small dogs, fluffy and scruffy dogs and her friends found it endlessly entertaining that she would always cry at the same spot whenever she watched Lassie. She would, and still does, stop every dog and every owner she passes, to pat and chat.

Last year, Sharon got her first dog, a Sheepadoodle, and her life changed forever.  She still works in education but now she also gets to indulge in her passion and she is so excited about the future.  Sharon is very proud to be the new owner of Bones & Harmony and she looks forward to making your, and your dog’s, experience the absolute best it can be.

GIGI

Gigi has come to us from across the world. Originally from Hungary, she spent 10 years in the foggy, grey UK before making the decision to try sunny Australia.

After 5 years in the creative industry, Gigi started dogsitting and dogboarding part-time and her love for dogs grew every day. She joined Bones & Harmony after realising the joy caring for dogs brings to her life. She never fails to pet a dog on the street or to cuddle each dog at B&H.

Outside of work she enjoys going to music festivals, playing video games and learning new things - whether that's coding, surfing, design or scuba diving.

izzy

Isabel has worked with dogs for 8 years in grooming, vet nursing and day care! She has grown to love all breeds, shapes and sizes but has a soft spot for the smaller pups!

Isabel has grown up with cats, kelpies, dachshunds and even rats!

In her spare time Isabel loves to read, baking and watching movies with her friends and cat Twix!

COLLEEN

After running shelter admissions at the RSPCA for close to 14 years, Colleen has developed a strong bond for animals of all shapes and sizes. Pictured with her is her rescue cat, Simba. Simba was surrendered to the shelter after sustaining a fractured hip after being hit by a car. After 3 months of rehabilitation, Colleen and her family just couldn’t let him go. Simba now lives his best life with Colleen, her husband and two daughters.

After making the switch to doggy daycare in 2021, Colleen joined the Bones and Harmony team in March 2022 so she could get her 'doggy fix' and it did not take long for her to become many a dogs favourite team member.  Colleen is known for winning over the hearts of all the doggies, but in particular the nervous ones.

Make it stand out

Originally from Ireland, Katy moved down under last year for a new adventure. Growing up on a farm she was always surrounded by cats, horses, sheep, and cows. She later worked at her family run doggy day care for several years, so safe to say she is happiest when surrounded by animals! She loves all animals and all breeds of dog, but has a particular soft spot for terriers and whippets.

When not spending time animals, she can be found reading, doing some yoga, or finding a new place to eat!
