What days are you guys open?

Bones & Harmony is open everyday of the year except for Weekends & Public holidays.

We are open for business from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday.

Do you offer overnight boarding?

Yes we do! Only to current canine guests who come to doggy daycare. You can speak to Mishie or any of the friendly staff for more information.

What are your vaccination requirements?

For dogs to enter the premise, they must be fully vaccinated to C5 level.

This is pre-vaccination against distemper, hepatitis, kennel cough (parainfluenza (Type II) virus and Bordetella bronchiseptica) and parvovirus is required.

Puppies welcome from 12 weeks with first vaccination.

Does my dog need to be desexed?

Yes, they do. Your dog must be neutered or spayed (if over the age of six months).

Can you give my pet their medicine?

Absolutely! You will need to complete a Medicinal Authorisation Form that will be signed by both parties at reception with specific written dosage instructions.

How do I enrol my dog for doggy daycare?

Simply fill out the enrolment form, or call us on 0447 053 348 with your details and we’ll book your dog in for their Free 30 minute temperament test. Temperament tests are generally held in the morning, and if you furry friend pass the test - they can stay for the day to see how well they play in daycare environment!

Please bring your dog along on a secure lead, as well as their up-to-date vaccination certificate on the day (just a screenshot on your phone will do)!

What is temperament testing?

Not every single dog is suitable for daycare due to their past experience and nature, hence a full assessment of their temperament is required before we accept them.

During the assessment, we pay attention to their body language to assess how comfortable they are, and how they might respond to other dogs. From there, we’ll begin the process of meeting the staff and integrating them with other dogs if we deem it suitable. Throughout the assessment, we are noting the change in behaviour, their interactions with other dogs and how they are responding to the environment.

We recommend the paw-parents to grab a coffee and come back in 30minutes!

This is because, if your scent is around - your furry friend will be focused on finding/getting back to you in this new environment, instead of meeting our dogs or the dog carer.

Best and closest cafe is Supreme Coffee Club, 28-36 Grosvenor St, Abbotsford  - 2 minute walk.

What happens after the temperament testing?

Our staff will give you very honest feedback on how your dog went during the test.

If we believe your dog is suited to the daycare environment, you are most welcome to Join our pack! Otherwise, no stress - as there are alternative pet services we can recommend.

-> I am happy to Join, but how do I know which option is best for my furry friend?

Casual Visit

Casual rates are best for customers who visit only occasionally and are happy to just pay for the casual day.

Benefit: Pay as you go
Cons: More Pricey

Direct Debit Option

Our Paw-Some Membership is the best option if you want your furry friend to come to doggy daycare at least once a week to break up their week at home.

You choose how many days you want your dog to attend, and pay a discounted weekly amount, via weekly direct debit.

You can cancel your membership at any time, and pause it for a week or more, for up to 10 weeks per year. If you want to visit an extra day or two that week, you just make an extra payment based on your membership’s discounted daily rate.
And if you miss one of your weekly days, we’ll give you 4 weeks to make it up!

Benefit: Most cost effective option, benefit of a discounted rate without the up-front payment of a daycare pass.
Cons: If you work from home most weeks, $39.95 cancellation fee*

*Bones & Harmony will cover the cancellation fee as a good will gesture if your dog falls ill and can no longer come to doggy daycare with evidence of a certificate from a registered veterinary clinic or become deceased.

Daycare Passes

Daycare passes are best for repeat customers whose attendance isn’t necessarily very predictable. You get the benefit of the discounted daycare rate, versus paying at the higher casual rate. Be entirely flexible about when you want to bring your furry friend into doggy daycare.

Benefit: Discounted rate, flexible attendance, 1 Year expiry date
Cons: Up front payment
